How K18 works
K18 was developed after a decade of scanning and testing all the amino acid sequences covering the entire genome making up keratin (which is the stuff your hair is made from). In doing this, K18 discovered a specific, unique sequence they were able to apply to damaged hair, which they name K18Peptide.
At the innermost layers of all hair types, we have a polypeptide chain which is responsible for hair strength and elasticity. As we apply chemicals or heat to our hair, these chains break down. This causes permanent damage to your hair.
Thanks to K18 and their decade of research, however, this damage no longer has to be permanent! The hair peptide they’ve developed burrows deep into your hair to the broken chains and reconnects them in as little as four minutes.
